Program Details and Syllabus:
The M.A (Final) in English Program introduction: It is designed to familiarize students with a comprehensive understanding of some areas of British Continental, African Latin American and American Literature. The Students will be also familiarized with different theories and methods of teaching English as a second Language.

Admission:
The entry requirement for the M.A. in English Program is B.A (Honours) in English. Students after successful completion of course work for MA (Preliminary) in English will also be able to get admission to this program.

Workload:
The program consists of 12 courses of 36 credit hours. There will be two classes per week for a three credit course. Students will have to take 12 courses in order to complete and obtain an M.A. Degree from EUB.

Evaluation of Students’ Performance:
Of the total credits allowed for the courses, the performance of each course will be evaluated as follows.

Terms at the University:
There will be three terms in an academic year as follows.
Fall           :   October – January
Spring      :   February – May
Summer    :   June – September
