The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the European University of Bangladesh (EUB) successfully convened its "Annual Student Interaction & Networking Session" on Thursday, December 5, 2025. The event, designed to bridge the gap between students, faculty, and industry experts, was a resounding success, marked by recognition, inspiration, and a warm welcome to new talent.

The session was honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Md. Rabiul Islam Sarker, ME Dept. at RUET, who served as the distinguished Invited Guest. He was joined by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abu Taher, Chairman of the EUB Mechanical Engineering Department. Both dignitaries delivered keynote addresses, sharing invaluable insights on academic excellence, industry trends, and leadership, profoundly motivating the attendees.

A central highlight of the program was the recognition of exemplary students. The following individuals were awarded for their outstanding academic performance, co-curricular engagement, and demonstrated leadership throughout the year: Md. Shakhawat Hossain, Md. Ruhul Amin Ridoy, Arefin Parag. Rezwanul Haque Rupok, and Shazia Arefin.

In a significant announcement, the department officially welcomed Md. Asifur Rahman Sakib as a new faculty member, signaling a continued commitment to strengthening its academic team.
