Introduction:
Recognizing the need to prepare highly skilled and qualified managers and professionals for private, public and non-profit organizations, the European University of Bangladesh (EUB) has designed its Executive MBA Program (EMBA) which will offer a unique opportunity for the managers, executives and professionals to upgrade their professional expertise and to improve their problem solving skills. The EMBA is a multidisciplinary professional graduate program, which is designed for managers of all levels of both local and multinationals organizations.
Objectives:
- To enhance the real life exposure and practical orientation of the students.
- To promote the intellectual growth of the students admitted to the program.
- To develop competence necessary for the executives in an increasingly complex business world.
- To enhance the ability of the students to identify business opportunities and resolve managerial problems.
- To develop students understanding of the functional areas of business and develop a general perspective of their interrelationship.
- To enhance ethical thinking and develop communication, interpersonal and leadership skills of students to work effectively with others and lead teams to accomplish objectives.
Admission Requirements: Admission to the EMBA program is selective. To apply for admission, students must fulfill the requirements outlined below:
- Successful completion of at least a Bachelor degree from a reputed university.
- Must have at least two years work experience in an executive position after graduation (For Executive MBA).
Degree Requirements:
a. Completion of 15 courses (45 credit hours) + a project of 3 credits
b. Passing of all the courses individually and maintaining a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.25
c. The minimum passing grade for internship report is ‘C’.
