Introduction:
Recognizing the need to prepare highly skilled and qualified managers and professionals for private, public and non-profit organizations, the European University of Bangladesh (EUB) has designed its MBA Program (MBA) for students who have successfully completed Bachelor f Business Administration (BBA). The Program will offer a unique opportunity for the BBA graduates to pursue further studies to upgrade their knowledge and skills and to enhance analytical and problem solving ability in their area of specialization. The MBA is a multidisciplinary professional graduate program, which is designed to prepare graduates for managerial jobs of all levels of both local and multinationals organizations.
Objectives:
- To promote the intellectual growth, analytical and problem solving competency of the students admitted to the program.
- To enhance the real life exposure and practical orientation of the students.
- To develop competence necessary for the managers in an increasingly complex business world.
- To enhance the ability of the students to identify business opportunities and resolve managerial problems.
- To develop students understanding of the functional areas of business and develop a general perspective of their interrelationship.
- To enhance ethical thinking and develop communication, interpersonal and leadership skills of students to work effectively with others and lead teams to accomplish objectives.
Admission Requirements: Admission to the MBA program is limited to the BBA graduates only from recognized University. To apply for admission, students must fulfill the requirements outlined below:
- Successful completion of at least a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from a recognized university.
- Work experience in a managerial position would be added advantage but not essential.
Degree Requirements:
a. Completion of 11 courses (33 credit hours) + a project of 3 credits
b. Passing of all the courses individually and maintaining a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.25
c. The minimum passing grade for project is ‘C’.
