Introduction:
Business plays a major role in the structure and functioning of contemporary society. Rapid changes in technology, resource allocation, structural shifts in the economy, and changes in consumer preferences, global competition, and shifts in the employment market all necessitate a better understanding of the role and nature of business in today’s society.
The BBA provides a well-rounded business education with a focus on global business operations, emerging markets, and technology-enabled organizations. Students develop an in-depth understanding of one of the business concentrations and learn a broad range of managerial capabilities, problem solving and communication skills.
The BBA program of European University of Bangladesh aims at developing a student’s intellectual ability, executive personality and managerial skills through an appropriate blending of business and general education. Students will develop an appreciation and understanding of how to achieve organizational objectives in an often diverse and turbulent external environment.

Objectives:
The specific objectives of the program are to:
–  produce up-to-date, assertive and effective executives for business and other organizations.
–  prepare students for higher studies in business at home and abroad.

The BBA program prepares students for executive career in business and other organizations. The BBA degree is many a times referred to as the golden passport, since it gives its holder an edge in the job market by opening more doors of opportunity. The degree helps the graduate to fulfill potential for high earnings, increased responsibility, and greater personal development. The present decade has been labeled as the era of business, business administration and business graduates.

Admission Requirements:
Every candidate, without any exception, must fulfill the admission requirements as laid down by EUB. A higher secondary certificate or its equivalent in science, arts, commerce or other fields of study is the basic educational requirement. Candidates having at least GPA of 2.50 in SSC and HSC or equivalent are eligible to apply for admission in BBA program. Candidates who have passed at least 5 papers in GCE “O” Level (with Mathematics as one of the subjects) and two papers of “A” Level may also apply provided they have obtained minimum 2.5 points (weighted average) in both “O” & “A” level. Applications will, however, be evaluated on the basis of both previous academic achievements and admission test scores. Admission test will consist of a written examination on language, mathematics and analytical skills, followed by an interview conducted by the EUB. A student having a minimum score of 1000 (with a minimum of 400 in verbal) SAT may not require to take the BBA admission test (written) administered by the university.

Degree Requirements:
a. Completion of 45 courses (133 credit hours) + an internship of 3 credits
b. Passing of all the courses individually and maintaining a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.25
c. The minimum passing grade for internship report is ‘C’.
